Roksana Bahramitash, earned her Ph.D at McGill from the sociology department and her post doctorate was one of the top three in Canada. .She has pursued a career as an academic, teaching at McGill and Concordia University and has published many books and articles. As a policy advocate, she has worked for international organizations, such as the ILO and the United Nations. More recently, she has focused her work on storytelling and creative nonfiction.
